Since our first weekend trek out of Bengal, Jungle n Trails has been built by people who’d rather be on a ridge line than behind a desk. Here’s who we are and why we do this.

Built On Trail Dust and Word of Mouth
Jungle n Trails started as a handful of friends from North 24 Parganas organising weekend treks for anyone who wanted to swap a Sunday indoors for a sunrise on a ridge. What began as informal trips with borrowed tents grew, one word-of-mouth referral at a time, into a full adventure travel outfit running treks across the Himalaya, jungle safaris into the Sunderban, nature camps, and school and corporate outdoor programs.
We’re still run the same way we started: by people who lead the treks themselves, know every campsite personally, and treat every group — first-timer or veteran trekker — like they’re part of the crew, not a booking number.
What We Stand For
Safety First, Always
Every trek is planned around vetted routes, trained trek leaders, first-aid kits, and a hard rule: we turn back before we take a risk, not after.
Leave-No-Trace Travel
We route away from over-touristed trails where we can, cap group sizes, and brief every guest on responsible-travel basics before departure.
Adventure Should Be Affordable
Weekend and beginner treks are priced so a first-time trekker can say yes, with our Travel Now, Pay Later scheme available on select trips.
Community Over Customers
Many of our trekkers started as strangers on a bus to a trailhead and left as a group that treks together every season since.
